I have a website that uses the Question2Answer (Q2A) platform. I want to have an Advanced User Ban Plugin to improve user management on my site.
Below, I have listed the basic and advanced features that I want to have in the plugin in detail:
Plugin Features:
1. Basic Features
Permanently or temporarily ban a user with admin/moderator authority.
Entering a ban reason and a temporary ban option (for example: 1 day, 7 days, 30 days).
Automatically unlocking the user when the ban period expires.
The banned username is crossed out and the phrase "Membership Stopped" is added next to it.
2. Advanced Features
Category-Based Ban: Blocking the user from certain categories of actions (asking questions, writing answers, making comments).
Completely Unable to Use the Website: Making the user completely unable to access the site.
Ban Management Panel: Listing, filtering and managing banned users in the admin panel.
Logging: Record of bans (who banned, reason, date, duration). , Also visible on the banned user's profile.
Email Notification: Automatically send an e-mail to banned users (with ban duration and reason).
