link to qa profile from wordpress site

Question

I have integrated qa with a wordpress site using the standard integration install .

When I attempt to link to a user profile page directly from my wordpress site the qa site responds with the profile page BUT the user shows as not logged in on the qa site.

This doesnt happen when I link to the 'ask a question' page - that opens correctly and the user is correctly logged in.

IS there a way to link correctly to the qa user profile so that they can see the page and be logged in? Have I missed some requirement in how I have to link to this?

1. If you disable all plugins, do you still face this issue?
2. If so, how have you made the WordPress integration?
