I can cover it by moderation, but want it. For example, The feature which redirect of requests except Admin to Maintenance-Page.

As long as it is not implemented You as well can redirect all incoming traffic through the .htaccess (301 redirect). i do this on some sites where this feature is missing.

I recently had a problem when reindexing all the questions and answers. Some users got MySQL locking errors when viewing the site. It would be nice to have this maintenance mode to prevent that kind of thing.
