Nice haiku :D

Although in my opinion, just removing all the colour doesn't make something minimalist. Minimalism is about removing everything that's not strictly necessary. A few examples that sprung to mind:

  • Remove that extra border around the answer box and maybe change the textarea border to 1px.
  • Remove some of the bold text, as it can often stand out enough with just the size (or if not make it black and the regular text a dark grey). The question title for example could just be the large size but not bold. Similarly for the date/author.
  • You could remove "votes" and have just the number and arrows (like Stack Overflow style, which I do on my site)

Just a few ideas. But great job :)

:) Okay, so minimalish, anyway :) I added the borders for organization - nav items also underline, but this picture doesn't show that.

Also, the images have all been filtered to be more like brush paintings, but it was a quick job, not yet finished.

Thanks for the ideas, you're probably right, there should be some way to make it totally minimal and still organized.  Feel free to fork the theme if you have time :)
