Categories only be selected by a moderator?

Is it possible that some categories can only be selected by a moderator when asking a question? How can I adjust that?

I believe this will need a custom plugin to do this. The drop down selection in the Ask page needs to be filtered based on the user level and also the question post request needs a check for the user privilege.

Yes, I think it will be a bit more complicated to implement. Maybe someone who knows what they are doing can do it.
