I don't know for certain, but it looks like the developer is restructuring their Github account.
When I looked a short while ago most of the repositories there had disappeared (unclear if they were removed or just privated), but since then some repos seemed to start re-appearing (although apparently empty), including the one for hiding the sidebar.
You may want to keep an eye on it, see if the code is being re-uploaded.
