Generating identicons for Q2A users

Question

I love the idea that we can generate the identicons for our Q2A site users, just like Github does.

I came across some PHP libraries such as this https://github.com/yzalis/Identicon , so it's feasible. However, I'm not a programmer, so I cannot initiate.

If we can use SVG avatars generated by such libraries, there is no concern about bandwidth things but users have unique avatars anyway.

Hopefully, someone will make a plugin, or ideally it can be integrated into Q2A core.

There used to be a plugin like this a few years back. I was searching for it but couldn't find it. Perhaps it was discontinued.
