1.8.5 seems slower loading compared with 1.7.1

Question

Unfortunately I did not get screenshot of 1.7.1 now that completely migrated to 1.8.5

The loading time for 1.8.5 is 3.6sec  whereas for the exact same contents for 1.7.1 was only around 2.3sec!

I understand lots of improvement has been recently done on the code however this is what I observed in practice. I also activated the caching feature and the timing you see is the best of it.

Any tips on this? Thank you

It’s difficult to say without a proper comparison of before and after. It could just be that there is one more image on the page than there was before.
