PHP Question2Answer email send error: Could not instantiate mail function.

I keep getting "PHP Question2Answer email send error: Could not instantiate mail function." error on the error_log file. In 1 or 2 day the file becomes 2 gb with these error logs. My Q2A site doesn't requires any email sending. I am not using mail verification system. How can I solve this error?

As I know, there is no way to turn off email notifications and you receive these error because the notification emails also (not only from user verification).

To solve this, try to use a SMTP server or local php mail function.
