Is it possible to know when a user last visited the site?

I'm just curious really, to see how many registered people have been on my site in the last week, but not necessarily posted.

In the database we have created, written and loggedin dates. The loggedin date would probably be the best guess, but a user may be permanently logged in, so they wouldn't show up.

To save on queries, Q2A doesn't write to the database every time a user requests a page. Sounds like a good job for a plugin though - see also:
