[bug?] Could not establish database connection

Question

I do have wordpress and q2a on same server, I know when user load is too much I can expect below kind of error but site is not coming back after this. I need to reboot server to fix this issue. whereas my wordpress site works normal after user load is low, it recovers back(wordpress is slow when I see below error for Q2A but never get any db error for wordpress). I feel this is real issue with Q2A but you may be having diff views. Could anyone explain me please. thanks.

Are there any errors in the error logs? You could also try turning on the MySQL slow query log, maybe there is a particular query that's very slow.
Also check how many queries are running per page, maybe a plugin is making a lot of queries?

Check your raw error log. Error number of MySQL is recorded there.

It may be issue related MySQL configuration (max_connections, etc).
