User login and registration button confuses users

Question

Hi There,

In order to register, a user should click on the "log in" button at the top right, then they should click on the "register" button. This confuses users, as they want to register not "log in"

I have a suggestion to redesign the log in / register button so that those who want to register, click on the Register button w/o interruption.

I think you re right on this as i too already removed the dropdown login menu and redesigned it on my own site so now there are 2 different buttons on the top bar: "Sign In" and "Sign Up". This way is much easier and faster for user to login or register.  You can easily do the same on your advance theme file (qa-theme.php)

We use SnowFlat Theme. Could you please share the instruction to modify advance theme file (qa-theme.php)
