I know all the users of q2a check this site everyday for update for 1.8 but developers are very busy. Today I download the latest 1.8 alfa version from github i install it on 

http://ans.bissoy.com/beta/

 it works fine.

Yes, been using it on a site with good traffic. No issues and nice performance. But Q2A 1.8 is not fully released as notification feature is still not out.
