How question view count is added ?

I'm running some core modifications and i want to know how view count is added so i can add add to count even if user not visited question page. Now i'm using iframes (mysite.com/q-id) to do that wich is not very practical...

Any ideas ? Wich files are used to count views ? qa-include/pages/question.php ?
