I have branched the excellent plugin developed by Vadim Kr. bndr and extended/fixed by sama55 and it can be found here:

Some features:
- drastically decrease cache delete time, by only doing recursive cache file delete as fallback
- allows anon users to edit their own post
- recovers gracefully from cache failure, suppresses possible cache failure warnings (to be tested)
Give it a try, and let's discuss on github. At some point, can decide how to merge the activities.
