I have created a "Feature Request" category on my Q/A site and would love to have the questions in that category presented in descending Vote order.

I found that if you switch on the QA_ALLOW_UNINDEXED_QUERIES value in your qa-config.php. Then Q&A will magically enable sorting on the categories.

I did this to solve a different problem and magically my categories are now sortable.

I am happy!   No Hacking the Core for me.
