How to call a plugin from another plugin?

Question

I need to call the eventlogger plugin from another plugin. In other words, I need to enable it.

For convenience, I don't want to copy parts of the eventlogger code to my plugin to create the table ^eventlog and the options, instead I would like to initialize it directly from my recent plugin.

Has anyone found a way to do this easily?
