E-Mail Notifications - Example of askbot forum

I know that sama55 is developing a email notification plugin. Today by chance I tried askbot.org, they have these email options that could be adopted (should be easier...):

I succeed controlling Q2A core email by overriding email function in my plugin. However, remained technical hurdle and server load inspection are necessary to add this feature. I think about priority and may add it after V1.2...?
