Q2A 1.6 Error: Unexpected response from server - please try again or switch off Javascript

Question

Every time I reject or try and delete a question I get this error. I've just updated to Q2A 1.6 and now this is happening.

I have now taken all plugins off to see if any was causing a problem but still getting the same problem

OK. It is probably a PHP error. I need to see the error to be able to understand the problem. If you want you can private message me with a link and the login for an administrator, so I can see if the PHP error is being included in the Ajax response.

I have been facing the same error notification. I have installed Q2A site along with WordPress. When I have disabled the Wordfence Firewall protection. Then error too disappaered. However, it may harmful to disable Wordfence firewall. So currently searching another viable option.

Thanks for sending the credentials. I looked into the Ajax request with a browser debugger. It seems your server is returning an HTTP 406 error to Q2A's POST Ajax request. Based on a quick Google search it may be an Apache module called mod_security that is preventing the requests being accepted. But it could have any number of other causes. I'm afraid I can't really help beyond this point, and you'll need to talk to your hosting provider.
