CKeditor upload does not show progress in IE

Question

When uploading images or something else through cke the Internet Explorer does not show a progressbar, With larger images the user thinks that nothing is happening and either leaves the page or clicks around. Does anybody know how to fix that ?

It is a known problem, users of stackoverflow recommend to use a jquery page blocking plugin :

Would be really important to have some help on this, because no user will think that the script is working !
