How to make 'Full name' mandatory in user registration page?

I have been wanting something similar  but for people to answer rather they are Male of Female I was able to get it in the register but  can not make it mandatory,

I believe you need to write a custom plugin for that. Vanilla Q2A allows you to show the field on the registration form, but doesn't have an option to make it mandatory AFAICS.

Perhaps you can get some pointers from this question.

I have used this, but it works only location. And when I active this code, user avatar does not work, I mean avatar is not shown.
