Why less plugin and theme developers now?

There are very low number of plugin and theme developers left in q2a community. What happened? Why old developers aren't interested in q2a platform anymore?

Everyone is behind ML :D Not only Q2A, web developers (who actually develop) are a scarcity everywhere.

Also for Q2A most generic stuffs are already available as plugins.
