Any chance an update will send out emails to users they have earned a badge/title?

The problem is there isn't any easy way to allow users to opt in or out of such a system.  If you enable it, you're liable to be flagged as a spammer.

The system currently sends emails, this would just be another email when thi pts reached the set titles

The system currently only sends emails when you check the checkbox, so it's at least an opt-in... I've added email notifications now to the plugin, and put an opt-in check box on the user profile.

Okay, this is working now.  Users now have an option on their profile page in the badges table:

and the email that is sent out is fully customizable via the admin page:

 

It seems to work okay for me, please let me know if you have any problems with it.

this is a feature in questions2answers version 1.4?  I have not seen this in the admin.
