After upgrading from 1.8.0 to 1.8.3 all best answers shows as closed with lock icon

That's strange, since Q2A 1.8.3 doesn't do any database upgrades so nothing should have changed. Can you check in your database if the questions are definitely closed? In the qa_posts table it's the 'closedbyid' column (it's NULL if the question isn't closed).

Perhaps it is a theme or plugin issue? Try disabling each plugin in turn t see if it resolves the problem.

yes it is checked, but i don't want closed message as "closed" rather want to remove closed icon and message from question body.
