version comparison

Question

I moved from version 1.5.2  to 1.8.2,

there are two differences that I observing

1.  The number of points of an user is different in old and new version

2. I very few questions is observed diff in number of views in the new version, which is one less.

I am looking for reason behind these two observation so that I can upgrade to a new version.

For #1 check and compare all the points values on Admin > Points. There are some new options there since 1.5, though I think most give 0 points by default (like comment voting).

For #2 I’m not sure what you mean. How can you tell the views are different? You have different numbers of people visiting before and after the upgrade.
