Q2A 1.8.3 : How to customize CKEditor ?

Hello,

I'm new on Q2A and I want to customize CKEditor with the BBCode plugin, but I cannot do it.

1. Have you some instructions to add this BBCode CKEditor plugin working ?
2. Have you some instructions to add the "Source" button in CKEditor ?

First of all bare in mind that there is a CUSTOMIZE.md file in the plugin directory that explains how to customize the CKEditor.

I've already install BBCode plugin, but it was the CUSTOMIZE.md I didn't see... I need some glasses...

I tried multiple configs and the BBCode plugin is OK when using CKEditor switching normal and source mode, but when I send my question, in Q&A the BBCode marks are "in the text" like : [b]this is bold[/b] and [u]this is underlined[/u]

I'm french and I read english, but I can't find (for the moment) any answer of my problem.

Any idea on this problem ? I think it's a problem in CKEditor but I didn't find the solution yet.

For you to actually see the bbcode as HTML you will need to convert it. You have to look for a library to do so. Once you have it you need to create a viewer module that would render the bbcode format. See here: https://docs.question2answer.org/plugins/modules-viewer/
