When you go to the head, it says to put the code. this is in the admin/design ,head?

It is data-ad-slot id from adsense code. are you using basic adsense plugin? You may not be able to use link ad units with this....You can try below plugin.

from above adsense code it looks like you are using link ad unit, you should use text/image ads which will have data-ad-slot parameter, that is AdSense Ad Unit ID.
