Google recognizes Q2A category and tag pages as duplicate

Hi There,

Google recognizes different pages on Category and Tag pages as duplicate. here is an example:

Duplicate question pages on Google Search Console

/questions/health?start=100
/questions/health?start=1200
/questions/health?start=1300
/questions/health?start=1350
/questions/health?start=1400
/questions/health?start=150
/questions/health?start=500
/questions/health?start=50

Duplicate tag pages on Google Search Console

/tag/sneezing
/tag/sneezing?start=1050

Is there a way so that google would not index these pages as duplicate?

How to add it to robot.txt?

There are too many duplicates ( around 300 suplicates)

Should I disallow all of the duplicates in robots.txt? This doesn't make sense. How about adding rel canonical or something like this?

Actually I was also facing same problem. You should use "Sitemap Plugin" to resolve this problem. You can create custom category-sitemap.xml file for categories and tag-sitemap.xml for tags.

And upload to file manager in your cPanel in public_html folder.
