Register stopped working

Question

A Question2Answer database query failed when generating this page.

A full description of the failure is available in the web server's error log file.

That's the error I get when someone's register. I noticed after I had to disable recaptcha, because it was in a loop, after that, the error message is the above one.

I did not touch anything in the site, it happened suddenly.

How can I fix it ?

Dude theme, I believe from the same author.
Re captcha just stopped working, if I activate it, it's a loop and nothing works.

After repairing tables in the database, the error went away.

Any clues how to make things work again?

I asked about cleanstrap because I remembered answering a very similar question about that theme (although it had nothing to do with the captcha but rather with extra registration fields).

It could either be the theme or a plugin that is messing with the data. You should take a look at the web server's log to get more information about the error.

That has nothing to do with the error. You should be seeing some SQL query error (based on the error in red)
