External site autherntication code at function qa_get_logged_in_user()

Question

Hi

I am chipping away at trying to set up the authentication (I'm not a programmer but am working on it) and I am at the part of the qa_external_users.php file where I am to do something to

 

function qa_get_logged_in_user()

 

and I am kind of unclear. I'm sure the instructions are clear to programmers but I am trying to hobble my way through this. I have undertood all the instructions thus far.

You will need to know how to find the user on your web site and return the information about the currently logged in user in an array as shown in the comment. You'll need to work with your project's programmers on that one!  :)

If the site you want to integrate with is any popular script, maybe you could find help from someone who had already implemented it. Maybe. :)
