Issues with Dude Theme

Question

I see that Dude theme is the most liked one by users due to look and feel and performance. But it has plenty of bugs/issues many of which can be easily fixed. But major issues:

1. Incompatibility with plugins
2. Probably everything needs to be customized for this theme

Any other issues? Is it worth working on this theme?

yes, it will be good idea. it is clean theme. You can fork and start working on this, others may join. I can provide inputs for design.

Yes, but too much work and I'm not very experienced in UI. So, better to use Snow Flat/Donut themes.

The theme won't be worked on anymore as the developer has abandoned it. It has a lot of bugs and is not compatible (at all) with the latest Q2A version.
