why users cant see where the vote comes from?

Question

When a user get a vote they want to see who gave it. At least not for the public but for the user who got the vote should know where it comes from. Is it possible, are there any ways to do it?

This is missing with the 1.7 core and before.

Handy: Install the q2apro on-site-notifications plugin: http://www.q2apro.com/plugins/on-site-notifications

Then you see where the *recent* votes come from.
