When adding a new profile field of a "linked url"?

. Is there a way to make these links on the profile open in a new tab? As of now if you visit someones profil and click one of the linked url's it takes you offsite but in the smae page. this potentially could loose the visitor.

Opening a page in the same tab does not "lose the visitor", this has been proven many times IIRC.

If they go off your site they may not come back.  I like to open these in a new window so I'm asking for a way to do this.
