What theme are you using? Are you using any plugins that may be changing the output?

@scott I realized that I have exactly same doctype stray problem in only tags at q-lists and q-view pages. Not in tag pages. What is the source of this problem. I dont think it is related with any plugins I use. Not related with theme.php as well because I dont have any tag-related codes there.

It can't be anything to do with core Q2A because there is nowhere in the code that outputs that doctype. Literally no occurrences of "html public" or "loose.dtd" etc anywhere in any Q2A files.

What plugins are you using? What is your site URL?
