Possible serious url language change ?

I wonder if you can change the language of the url , example :

domain.com/ask ------> domain.com/preguntar  

domain.com/user -----> domain.com/usuarios

this would allow to make a multilingual web

I have done a redirect and now I have this problem:

/preguntar?qa-rewrite=ask
/categorias/internet?qa-rewrite=categories/internet
My code is in the htacces :
Redirect 301 /ask http://www.domain.com/preguntar
