Install form won't submit?

Question

I have set up my database and user, inserted the information into the config file and renamed the file and uploaded everything to the root directory of my site.  When I click the "create database including user management" button it redirects to http://www.mathhomeworkanswers.org/index.php?qa=install but appears to do nothing. Any suggestions?

How did you fix this problem? All he suggested was that there was a 403 error and permissions problem. I don't see any issue on my site and can easily install wordpress without a problem. What did you do to solve this?

I tried it. Your server is responding with an HTTP 403 forbidden error code when the button is clicked to POST the form. I don't know why this is, but it is probably something to do with your Apache configuration, or a .htaccess file. If you're not sure you can try asking your web hosting company.

I seem to have an install error on the database. Error log in the directory yields this error, qa_options table not found in the database (actually there are no tables in the database.)

I solved this problem here by using Filezilla as my client and making sure that secure file transfer protocol was not engaged. Once I did that, it was poetry.
