Is there a way to change the qa-styles.css in order to display the top-users in one column?

I am using the snow-flat theme. I have realized that when the names of the users are large, the columns become too small and tide.

There is no need to change any file. You can do so by navigating to admin/lists and set the Columns on Users page setting to 1.
