Question2Answer Installer Won't Run

I've setup Q2A on a fresh new domain but the installer won't advance passed the "It's time to set up your database!" screen. 

There doesn't seem to be any error handling in place for this issue.

Running on CENTOS 4.7, php 5.2.14, mysql server 5.0.91.

check your database admin permission. he must have full access.

There is error handling as part of the installation procedure, so it seems like it's not even getting started. Please check your Apache error_log file to see if there are any clues in there, and also that you haven't done anything unusual with an .htaccess file or your web server configuration that is causing redirects.
