Snow theme issue with full HD 1920 x 1080 tablets

Folowing up with the answer Scott provided to this question

I tested the updated (jan 6th) qa dev on my tablet (full HD 1920 x 1080, HP Slate 21) and noticed still a minor issue. The side bar is closed by default! Eventhoug the screen size is 1920 x 1080

As mentioned in my answer on that question the solution is not perfect. It was the best I could do in the short time before 1.7 is released so that the site isn't completely broken on tablets.

I will work on a fix for 1.7.1 that is fully responsive without using the server-side detection.
