And it happened again: I wrote a complete text, my fingers moved a bit to the side, and zap the site has closed accidentially... ARGG!

I think I have lost already 20 pages of text over the two last years here in this q2a forum.

It is so damn easy to warn the user if something like this is happening. I made a free plugin (github) 9 months ago to prevent this happening, and it even works with CKEditor.

Please add it to this q2a forum. Just drives me nutz.

Actually it is just few lines of JQuery that has to be added to one of the core js files, see https://github.com/q2apro/q2apro-warn-on-leave/blob/master/q2apro-warnonleave-layer.php#L46

If you are using firefox browser, this extension solves the problem of lost texts:

It's not only about me, it's about all users. Think of those 14000 q2a forums out there, and calculate if only 1 guy per day loses 50 lines of text by this mistake... do the math :)
