Custom Home content above Q&A?

I would like to put the custom home content ABOVE my q&a, not instead of it.  Is there a way to do this?

Take a look at the options in the 'Layout' section of your 'Admin' panel. If none of them are suitable, you might have to use an advanced theme.

Yeah, added custom home content is not the problem.  What I want, however, is to have the custom home content above the q&a, not instead of it.

Right now, if I set my custom home content, that content takes the place of the q&a, but I want both on the home page.

I guess I could set up a function that checks to see if the user is on the home page, and then displays the custom content....

I'm not quite sure how to do that.

Try overriding the main() function in your theme class, checking ($this->request='') to make sure you're on the right page. If so, output your extra stuff. Either way, call through using qa_html_theme_base::main() afterwards.
