Help with creating database?

Question

I would really like to use Questions2Answer on my website, but I am fairly new to the whole database thing.  I am using 1and1.com and have created a MySQL Database, I have the Hostname, Username, Password, and Databasename, which I have changed in the qa-config.php file.

The part I'm lost on is how to set up a MySQL user with full permissions for that database. I am at the point on 1and1 to add a table and fields, but I have no idea where to go from there.

Please Help!!!

If you have the username/password that should be enough. If Q2A is complaining that it doesn't have enough permissions, you will need to ask your host if you are able to create a user with more permissions.

On basic hosting it's possible you will not be able to, and will have to upgrade your hosting package.
