I'm using the Q2A version 1.6.3. I'm searching for the method to display the view count ( hit counter ) in home page, quesion list.

There is a admin option for the same . 

 

Please navigate to qa/admin/viewing 

Then you could see the options such as Show view count in question lists:

Enable that . And it should work now
