Avatar/profile picture not displaying after DB import

Question

I just moved my  site from one windows server to linux server and I did data migration by exporting the DB from phpmyadmin and then importing it through on the DB server using workbench. Every thing works fine except the profile pictures of all the users.

Figured it out.. php needs gd package to process this kind of image format. Installed it and now it  works fine.
