Hi everyone,

I set up my homepage with "Recent question". The problem is we can't see recent activity into the question, like if someone answer question like it's possible in "All activity". Then, I would like under "Asked 10hours ago by User" to put "Answered 2 jours ago by User"

Thanks !

My opinion.

It is necessary to change largely Q2A core, or add list page meeting these requirements newly. For this work, deep knowledge about Q2A core and high level (complicated) DB query is necessary. Therefore, general user should think with impossibility.

Hi Sama! I think you mistake what I want, I just need to call the function from "All activity" and to put under the function in "Recent question" .I just want  "Who asked the question + who answered the question" on the same page.
Maybe a code in an advance theme can solve this?

@lancomega: Thanks for your consideration. However, I replied after investigation of program code deeply for you. Probably, my recognition will not be wrong. Apparently we can easily see this matter, but this is not simple. I recommend that you chase program code, too.

The reasons (Result of my investigation):
1. Meta data is related to basic DB query deeply
2. If you add information later to each record in layer, performance worsen by all means.

Thanks.

Ok so my best option is to come back to " All activity as homepage"... well thanks Sama if you can't find something easy, its because it's hard for sure ;)

The Recent Questions will display only shows the information about the posted recent questions. What you are looking for is displaying activity stream which is far different than Recent Questions.

What you are looking is possible by setting Activity as your home page. If you need all activity updates on home page than better to set it as a home page instead of Recent Questions

Hi Jatan, well actually I want both : recent  activity+all activiy parameters in one page. I mean just element links to questions, thanks to that user can see : "Who asked the question + who answered the question"
