How to add Google+ page code to homepage of my q2a website?

I was making a page for my website at Google+, and while verifying that page, there came a message to add a code to my homepage so that Google can verify that.

Can someone tell that how to do that, or where to add that code.
Q2A version: 1.6.3

Go to Admin > Layout, Check the Custom HTML in <head> section of every page and then put the code in the box below and save your settings.

Thanks for your help, I had tried custom HTML at top of every page and then custom HTML in <head> section of every page. For the first, a Google+ link started to show just below the search bar and for the second the link showed at the top.
But I don't want that link to show.
Although that code was just for verifying Google+ page so I removed if after that verification is done.
