How to handle my qa-config.php file when upgrading?

I read the instructions on ttp://www.question2answer.org/install.php#upgrade but I did not understand about the instructions regarding qa-config.php file. Please tell me how to handle my qa-config.php file? And after I upgraded should I need to re-upload all the additional plugins again?

You don't need to handle anything. There is no qa-config.php given in Q2A, it's qa-config-example.php which you rename yourself to qa-config.php.

So when there is a new version, you can't accidentally "overwrite" qa-config.php. You just re-upload everything that's in the zip download, including any of the plugins you're using. (If you are not using one of the provided plugins then don't upload it in the first place.)
