My parent categories consist of only one letter from A to Z and my subcategories contain my category "topics". This allows users to easily find content depending on what letter it begins with and I love that the categories automatically drill down when the user clicks on the parent category.
A (parent category)
- Algebra questions (child category)
- other topics that begin with A...
B
- boolean questions
- other topics that begin with B...
etc...
However, when posting a question, I would like to display only a list containing all subcategories and not have the user have to choose the first letter of the parent category to filter the subcategories (which again only contains letters A - Z). Is this possible without a ton of rewrites to the form (or query)
