How to use Categorizer by NoahY?

Categorizer by NoahY did not change the admin->category link. What am I doing wrong?

I can see the plugin loaded under the plugins section and activated it. But I still get the old link/page only. Can you please provide some insight about what may be wrong here?

My current goal is to import an exsisting (non-q2a) posts database which has its own categories using http://www.question2answer.org/qa/1222/what-is-the-best-way-for-me-to-upload-lot-of-questions-to-the-db. I thought about importing posts first and then manually setting the categories using this plugin.  Is there a better way to achieve this?

You can trigger Categorizer by appending ?categorize=1 to the end of the Categories admin page (e.g.: http://www.question2answer.org/qa/admin/categories?categorize=1).
