long time to reindex and refill

i have more than 20,000 questions ， it will take my long time to reindex and refill all the questions, if there is anyway that i can refill and reindex the last xxx questions ( xxx is a number that i can input) or today ( yesterday ) questions, u know that it's no necessary to reindex and refill all the questions.

Check the answer here - in short you can massively speed up reindexing if you empty the various indexing tables. Specifically:

• qa_contentwords
• qa_posttags
• qa_tagwords
• qa_titlewords
• qa_words

Note: set your site to maintenance mode so that you don't get users adding more content as you go.
